Description
Reffolds is a house dating from the 17th century, with a 19th-century extension to the left and a 20th-century extension to the rear. It features a timber frame of thin scantling with brick infill, a rendered plinth, and a plain tiled roof. The building has a T-shaped plan and is an end chimney cottage, with a 19th-century wing on the left side. It stands two storeys high and has a cross ridge stack to the left of the centre and an offset end stack to the right. The left gable is boarded, and the ground floor includes plate glass fenestration and an angle bay. The first floor jetties to the right over a moulded bressumer. There are two casement windows on the first floor and two windows below, one of which features diamond mullions. A door is located to the left of centre at the junction with the wings, and there is a framed wing at right angles to the rear.
