Description
Dean House Farm House includes barns that date from the 18th and 19th centuries, which have been restored and altered in the 20th century. The barns are timber framed, resting on a rendered plinth at the east end, and are clad in brick on the street front with weatherboarding above. They feature a plain tiled roof, with some sections displaying a fishscale pattern in the tiling. The range of barns runs parallel to the road, with the timber framing visible on the yard side to the left, while the right side is fully bricked, both sides topped with plain tiled roofs. There is an L-plan layout, with a two-bay barn positioned at right angles to the right end. The longer range parallel to the road has a central arched entrance. These barns are included in the listing for their group value.
