Description
Gaterounds Farm House is a 16th-century building featuring a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with brick infilling and some areas of colour-washed and rendered infilling above. The house has a plain tiled roof, with a hipped Horsham slab roof over a square range to the west. It is two storeys high and has a three-bay range on the right side, which includes two leaded casement windows on the first floor and two 3-light leaded windows on the ground floor. To the left, there is a part-glazed door situated at the angle with a taller square range. The square range has been refaced in the 20th century, while the older range is located behind it. The roof has been raised and features a central multiple triple part rebuilt stack. Each floor of the older range has a 4-light window, and there are braces on the return walls. To the left, there is a single-storey 20th-century addition with two windows. The right-hand return front has a queen-post roof, and there is a parallel range at the rear.
