Description

The Old Cottage is a house from the 17th century, originally a two-bay cottage with a modern southeast cross wing and a rear extension. The ground floor is constructed of red brick, while the upper floor is plastered. It features a modern tiled roof and a large external 17th-century red brick chimney stack on the northwest gable end, which consists of two joined square shafts on a stepped and sloping base. The building has three modern casement windows, chamfer-stopped floor beams, and an inglenook fireplace.
