Description

Mardleybury Farm Barn is a 17th century timber frame barn located on the south side near the road in Woolmer Green. It features tarred weatherboarding set on a stepped brick plinth and has an old tile roof. The barn has a projecting central cart entrance with a jettied gable supported by curved braces. A wrought iron weathervane, dating from the 18th or 19th century, adorns the structure. There are 19th century and modern lean-to extensions on either side of the barn, and double doors are present on the east gable end.
