Description
Park Gate House is a house built in the early to mid-18th century, with alterations and a rear extension added around 1890. The building features chequered red brick and has a steep-pitched plain tile roof with coped, parapeted gable ends. It stands two storeys high with attics and includes three glazing bar casements, with the outer ground floor windows designed as square window bays. There is a floor band present. Originally, the house had a gabled central porch and a central window on the first floor. It also has two hipped dormers. The gable end facing the road features a canted first-floor window from the 1890 alterations. The rear wing mirrors the outline of the front block and contains glazing bar casements. Additionally, there is a front garage extension that was added around 1960.
