Description
Nup End Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-frame building, which was later re-faced with brick in the 18th century. 20th-century extensions and alterations have also been made. The exterior is roughcast with a plastered floor band, and the roof is covered with machine tiles. One gable end, facing the road, displays exposed 17th-century timber framing. A 17th/18th-century gabled extension is located beneath this. The farmhouse has two storeys and four segmental-headed windows with 20th-century glazing bar casements. The ground floor features bow casements and a gabled porch. Two gabled rear extensions likely incorporate 18th-century structural elements.
