Description

A pair of houses dating from around 1820. They are constructed of whitewashed stock brick with a hipped slate roof. The houses are two storeys high and originally three bays each, with an additional bay to the left of number 13. The central entrances are in reveals, featuring six-panelled doors and traceried semi-circular fanlights with gauged brick heads. Flanking and first-floor glazing bar sash windows are in reveals, each with gauged brick flat-arched heads. Number 13 has no central first-floor window and an extra bay to the left, which originally contained a window over a carriage arch, now converted into a garage. A ridge stack is located at the right end, and there is an extruded stack. Decorative detailing from the eaves boards is present on the returns. A catslide roof extends over a two-storey addition to the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
