Description

Horseshoe Villa is an 18th-century house located on Munden Road in Little Munden. The building features a timber frame that is roughcast, with a weatherboarded apron and a weatherboarded west end, while the front is panelled roughcast. It has a steep roof with an old red tile rear slope that extends down as a catslide over a rear outshut. The front slope of the roof is now slated, with a plastered soffit at the front eaves.

This two-storey, two-unit house faces south and has a projecting gable chimney on the east side, which was rebuilt in 19th-century red brick, and a rear lateral chimney on the west side. The front is symmetrical with three windows and a central door. The windows are flush box sash style with moulded architraves and 8/8 panes. The central door is a six-panel design with a moulded surround and features a flat hood supported by iron brackets. Additionally, there is a 20th-century dormer on the rear catslide roof.
