Description
Juniper Cottage is a 18th-century house located on Weston Damask Green Road. It features a timber frame set on a low black stuccoed sill, with roughcast walls. The first floor is clad in white weatherboarding with edge rolls on the boards. The steep red tile roof extends to the rear over an outshut, and the house was originally thatched. This small two-storey house has a west-facing front that is two windows wide, with a large projecting red brick chimney on the south gable. The west front includes a gabled porch on the left-hand side, two small windows in the middle, and a bow window on the ground floor to the right. The windows are small pane flush casement types, and there is a panelled door. The ends of the purlins and wallplates project at the gables. Additionally, there is a lean-to tiled hood at the south end of the rear outshut, which is set back from the south gable of the house.
