Description
Gardeners Cottage is a 18th-century house constructed with a timber frame set on a black stucco plinth, which is plastered and lined to resemble ashlar. It features a steep, half-hipped roof covered with red tiles. This small, two-storey house faces south, with a west gable that is visible from the road. The south front has two windows and two gabled dormers at the eaves. There is a half-glazed door located near the eastern end, and a low eastern extension that includes two-light flush casement windows, while a three-light flush casement window is positioned beside the door. On the west gable, there is a flush three-light casement window on each floor. An internal red brick chimney is located to the west of the center, and an old red brick oven projects from the northern side of the building. The cottage is included for its group value.
