Description

Thatch Cottage is a house from the 18th century, built with a timber frame set on a black stuccoed plinth and covered with roughcast. It features a steep half-hipped thatch roof and has a gable facing the road. The building is 1 ½ storeys high and consists of two cells, following an internal chimney plan. It faces south and has single-storey, flat-roofed extensions added in the 20th century to the rear and east end. The entrance includes a battened plank door with a diamond-shaped cut. To the right of the door, there are two-light flush casement windows, and one window is located on each storey of the west gable facing the road. A single flue chimney is positioned near the east end.
