Description

This building is an outbuilding located about 5 meters west of Number 16 on Datchworth Green. It was originally built as stables in the 17th or 18th century and has been partially rebuilt. The structure features an exposed timber frame set on a red brick base, with rendered infill and weatherboarded gable ends. It has a steeply pitched tiled roof and consists of two bays. There is a plank door at the front and two windows at the rear. The exposed studding includes passing tension braces at the ends. The interior has not been inspected. This outbuilding is included for its group value with nearby structures.
