Description

This is a cast iron pump located at the southwest corner of the outhouse at Bridgefoot House, dating from the 18th or 19th century. The pump features a single downturned spout and an expanded corbelled stage leading to the cylinder. It has brackets for the handle, an S-shaped wrought iron handle, and a domed cap. The pump is of social and technical interest.
