Description

This is a cast iron pump located in the pavement next to the southwest corner of number 30 on London Road. Dating from the 18th or 19th century, the pump features raised rings on its barrel, a spurred spout, an S-shaped wrought iron handle, and a fluted domed cap. It may have been repositioned at some point.
