Description
No. 76 Station Road is an early 19th-century non-domestic building that stands two storeys tall. It is constructed of stock brick and is painted, featuring a hipped slate roof with a dentilled eaves course. The first floor has two recessed sash windows with six-over-six panes. There is a central door located under a segmental gauged arch. To the east of the door, there is a wide three-centred archway that has modern double doors. To the west of the door, a large single-storey square bay has a rounded recessed eastern corner, with windows on the front and eastern side that provide views down the road towards the wharf and the mill opposite. The building is attached to a row of workers' houses and is likely the former mill office. It is now used as a house and is noted for its architectural interest as part of the mill complex.
