Description

The pump located outside the south garden wall of the cottage at Bockhampton Farm dates from the 19th century. It is made of cast iron and features decorative moulding on the cap, which includes a finial, as well as on the spout. The pump has a long curved handle and is supported by iron stays on either side. This pump, along with the North Barn, Farmhouse, and Cottage at Bockhampton Farm, forms a group of historically significant buildings.
