Description
This barn, located about 20 meters southwest of Great Gobions Farm House, dates from the 17th or 18th century and is currently used as a workshop. It features a timber frame with a brick base and is weatherboarded, topped with a tiled roof. The barn has six bays and includes small doors leading to the yard and at the right end, as well as a loft door at the rear. Inside, there are some jowled posts, braces supporting the tie beams, angled struts that clasp the lower purlins, collars that clasp the upper purlins, and studs in the walling. The barn is included for its group value.
