Description
Stables located about 25 meters east of Birchall Farm House, dating from the late 18th century. The building is constructed of red brick and features a tiled roof, forming a rectangular block. It has stable doors and a louvred opening facing the yard, with sprocket eaves. The left gable end includes a louvred opening and a fixed light in the attic. There is a right end lean-to outshut. Attached at right angles to the stables and extending into the yard from the end closer to the house is a lower 19th-century timber-framed and weatherboarded range, which has double doors leading to the yard and gable end stable doors. The interior has not been inspected. This structure is included for its group value.
