Description

This is a house, now divided into two separate dwellings, dating from the late 17th century. The original structure is timber-framed with a stucco sill, and has been roughcast externally with 19th-century red brick rear extensions. The roof is covered in old red tiles. The house was originally a 2-storey, 3-cell design with a central chimney positioned nearer the northern end. An internal gable chimney was later added to the southern side, and has since been removed above the roofline. A small gabled porch has been added to the north end. The east-facing front has four windows on each floor. A 20th-century half-glazed door provides access to the southern section (number 86), while a battened door in the porch serves the northern section (number 82).
