Description

This is a house, originally one dwelling, now divided into two houses, dating from the 17th century and substantially refronted in the late 18th century. The structure is timber-framed, with roughcast plaster on the rear and brick on the front and up to the eaves on the south gable. It has an old red tile roof and two rear wall chimneys, along with an outshut lean-to at the rear.

The front of the building is divided into two distinct sections. The left-hand side is symmetrical, featuring two windows on each floor and a central door. The windows are flush box sashes with 10/10 panes, except for the window to the right of the door, which has vertical margin lights. The right-hand side has one window on each floor to the left of the door, with a blank wall to the right. The windows here are also flush sashes, of similar proportions but with 3/3 panes. Segmental arches are above the ground-floor windows. The front doors are flush panelled and set within moulded surrounds, topped by an entablature of a plain frieze and flat hoods.
