Description

This is a barn located 20 meters southwest of Little Balsams, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It has a timber frame that is weatherboarded and sits on a brick sill. The barn features a steep half-hipped roof covered with corrugated iron. It consists of five bays, with curved braces supporting the tie beams and a side purlin roof that includes collars. The south end has double doors that were added in the 19th or 20th century. The barn is a picturesque feature in the landscape.
