Description

The South Barn at Bridges Farm is an early 18th-century barn. It features a timber frame set on a red brick sill and is weatherboarded with a steep half-hipped roof that has been slated. The barn has three bays and includes a gabled porch on the south side, with double doors located on both the north and south sides. The structure has unjowled posts with straight braces connecting to the tie-beams. Inside, there is a clasped purlin roof supported by collars and raking queen-struts.
