Description

Coles Hill Lodge, located 150 meters to the south-southeast of Coleshill, is an early 19th-century lodge that has been converted into a house. The building features roughcast walls with a stucco plinth and slate roofs that are hipped with overhanging eaves and plastered soffits. This picturesque Gothic-style single-storey lodge faces north and has a square pyramidal center with a central chimney that has two tall octagonal moulded shafts. There is a lower and narrower axial rear wing on the south, which also has similar chimneys at the junction of the blocks. On the north side, there is a half-octagonal projection with windows that provide views of the drive. The entrance on the east side has a small porch, and the two-light casement windows have pointed heads.
