Description
Bramble Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century or early 17th century, with a northern bay added in the late 20th century. It features a timber frame that is roughcast, with a plastered brick renewal on the ground floor, and has a steep old red tile roof. The house is long and two-storeys high, set back and facing west. It has a continuous side-jetty on the west front supported by moulded brackets. There is a rear lateral chimney on the southern part of the building. The windows are flush wooden leaded casements that have been renewed. The former central entrance has been relocated to the new northern bay. The roof structure is a side-purlin type.
