Lodge About 250 Yards North-North-East Of Holme Lacy House

This building is a lodge located about 250 yards north-north-east of Holme Lacy House. It was probably built in the early 19th century and has undergone later alterations. The structure is made of sandstone ashlar and brick, with some parts finished in stucco. It features a hipped Welsh slate roof and a brick and stucco chimney. The lodge has a rectangular plan that is aligned north-east to south-west, with a polygonal end to the north-east. It is one storey high.

The north-east elevation has three windows, which are 2-light glazing bar casements, with one window on each face of the polygon, set in hammered rusticated ashlar. The window heads are adorned with deep voussoirs and dropped keystones. There is a moulded eaves cornice, and the entry is located in the north return. The return elevations are finished in stucco. The interior has not been inspected.
