Description

Rock House is an early 19th-century house. It is a stuccoed villa with a hipped roof tiled in the 20th century, and brick chimney shafts. The house is of single depth, with a central entrance and end stacks, and has later additions to the rear. It has two string courses and rusticated quoins. The central gable breaks forward, and the facade has a 3:1:3 window arrangement. The windows are glazing bar sashes with flat arches; the central gable contains a semi-circular-headed window with decorative glazing, and a blank window on the second floor. The ground floor has canted windows to the central and flanking bays. A former pedimented doorway is partly obscured by an open, flat-roofed porch.
