Description
The Ornamental Dairy at Netherfield House, located 5 metres west of the house, is a building dating from around 1860 and serves as a store today. It is designed in an Italianate style and constructed from grey brick with Bath Stone dressings. The building features a pyramidal slate roof adorned with scalloped bands and an arched cupola, which is topped by a pointed swept lead roof with a quatrefoil finial. This small, single-storey rectangular structure has its entrance on the east side, which includes a half-glazed four-panel door set beneath a segmental gauged arch. On either side of the door are narrow round-headed windows that have moulded stone arches and a string course at the impost level. The eaves cornice is supported by stone brackets, and there is one additional round-headed narrow window on the north side.
