Description

PISHIOBURY DRIVE 1. 5253 (East End) Dairy at E end of upper courtyard, Pishiobury Park TL 480 133:6/35 6.6.52 II GV 2. C18. Light red brick with steep pyramid slate roof. Tall single storey square building with 24" thick walls. Fine red brick in Flemish bond with gauged arches, dentilled eaves and tall terra cotta chimney shaft in middle of S wall with diaper pattern on circular shaft, octagonal base and cap. Small octagonal wooden lantern crowns roof. It is glazed only on cardinal faces and has wooden cornice and slate roof. Interior has flat coved ceiling with central oculus and features in the upper, parts of the walls. 3,3 centred arches in N wall, 3 segmental headed windows in E wall, chimney on S wall. 2 windows in E wall are probably modern. Bold round nosed impost moulding to cove. Now a shower room.
