Description
Lewell Dairy House is a dairy house built in the early 18th century, with some changes made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building features brick walls laid in Flemish bond with vitrified headers and has a first-floor plat band. It has a slate roof with gable ends and brick stacks located at the ridge center and the right-hand gable. The layout consists of a northern half that serves as the dairy and a southern half that functions as a dwelling, arranged in a two-room plan. The structure is two storeys high, with one window on the dairy side and three windows on the dwelling side. The dairy has a three-light wood casement window that is in decayed condition, while the dwelling has three-light metal casements from the 20th century, along with a two-light window above the front door. The windows are topped with segmental brick arches and concrete lintels. The front door is made of wood and glazed, dating from the 20th century.
