Description

5 and 7 Lower Street are a pair of mid-19th century red brick houses located in Stansted Mountfitchet. They are two storeys high and feature a two-window range with double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars, set in plain reveals. At the south end of the building, there is a small former shop window from the 19th century. The houses have two doorways and a passageway, and their roofs are covered with slate. These buildings are included in the listing for their group value.
