Description
The Queen's Head Inn is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house that features some 18th-century external elements. At the northern end, there is a 19th-century brick section that has been painted and is now part of the inn. The building has two storeys. The southern part has one window range, which includes a double-hung sash with glazing bars on the first storey and a 20th-century window designed in an 18th-century style on the ground storey. The central section has two window ranges with casements that also have glazing bars. The roofs are tiled at two levels, with a gambrel roof at the southern end. The northern block has two window ranges featuring double-hung sashes with glazing bars in plain reveals. The ground storey windows are three-light, and the window and door at the northern end are adorned with pilasters and a continuous cornice above. The roof is slate.
