Description

No. 22 Stortford Road is a house from the early 19th century, constructed with a timber frame and plastered exterior. It is two stories high and features a gabled roof covered with peg tiles, consisting of two parallel ranges. On the first floor, there are two wide double hung sash windows with small panes, positioned on either side of a narrower double hung sash window. The ground floor has a central doorcase that includes a moulded cornice or hood above a six-panel door. Flanking the door are similar double hung sash windows, which are wider than those on the first floor. The house has two chimney stacks located within the central valley of the roof.
