Description
The byre located to the west of Colville Hall is a late 14th century or early 15th century structure. It is timber framed, with a combination of plaster and weatherboarding on the exterior, and features a thatched roof. The building consists of four bays and has a crown post roof, which includes cambered and chamfered tie beams along with vertically strutted arch braces. The top plates are joined with halved and bridled scarfs.
