Description

This barn, located approximately 30 metres west of The Old Rectory, dates from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, with some areas covered in plaster. The roof is thatched and features a gabled midstrey. The barn consists of three bays and has through bracing in the walls. The roof is supported by side purlins, with rafters pegged at the ridge. Inside, there are some arched braces and hanging knees attached to the tie beams. To the left of the barn, there is a small outbuilding with a grey slate roof, which includes a stable door and a casement window.
