Description

The barn at Rectory Farm is a structure dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, sitting on a clunch plinth, with a long straw thatch roof that is half hipped. The barn features five bays, with a cartway opening on the east side and a lean-to on the opposite wall. Inside, there is a thrashing floor at the south end, along with braced tie beams and Queen strut roof trusses.
