Description

Church Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th or early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is timber framed and has plaster rendering, along with brick and tiled roofs. The house has ridge and end stacks constructed of red brick, with some rebuilt upper sections. It follows a lobby entry plan with a wing extending to the north of the east end. The house is two storeys high, plus attics, and features two dormers. The windows are largely from the 19th century, including a two-storey canted bay and a three-light cross-frame casement. A window in the wing has an 18th-century opening framed by a segmental arch. The property is included on the list for its group value.
