Description
Rayleigh Windmill is an early 19th-century tower windmill made of red brick. It stands six storeys tall and was fully restored externally in the 1970s, including its sails, cap, and fantail. The two lower storeys are vertical, while the upper storeys taper inward. The building features various two-light windows with segmental heads and 20th-century double doors with a segmental head above. There are also double doors on the second storey. No internal inspection was conducted at the time of the re-survey.
