Description

Mona Windmill is an early 19th century windmill with a tapering circular tower. It stands tall at seven storeys, with the lower part constructed of rubble masonry and the upper storeys made of brick. The windmill was originally rendered, and some traces of this render still remain. The openings feature shallow cambered heads, and the ground floor has a doorway with a brick head, while an opposing doorway has been blocked. The complete tower includes a cap frame at the top. The interior was not inspected during the survey.
