Description

The pier at the entrance of the old harbour is an early 19th-century structure. It has a slightly battered design and is constructed from stone, faced with long slabs and large natural boulders that are vertically aligned. The top of the pier is capped with large stone slabs, and it now features modern railings around the perimeter, along with steps leading down from the southeast corner. There is also a lighthouse or watchtower located on the pier, which is listed separately.
