Description
A terrace of five houses, located on Wantz Road, Maldon, was built in the early 19th century, with later extensions to the rear. The houses are constructed of painted brick with a gabled slate roof and four chimney stacks. They are three storeys high and have a five-window frontage. Each house features a single 12-pane segmental-headed sash window on each floor, along with a door opening, all now fitted with 20th-century doors. Number 58 has a 20th-century hood on consoles, and the ground floor window of Number 66 now has a canted bay window, with evidence suggesting a former shop window behind it. The south flank wall is built of pink or red brick. The interior has not been inspected.
