Description
This barn, located approximately 35 metres southeast of Woodham Mortimer Hall, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, with some areas covered in plaster. The roof is red plain tiles and features a gabled midstrey on the west side, along with a grey slate outshot also to the west. The barn has double vertically boarded doors leading to the midstrey and a small side door. Inside, there is a side purlin ridge board roof in the midstrey, with through bracing extending to the walls. At the time of the re-survey, the barn was in full use for storage, limiting visibility for further inspection.
