Description
The harness room, located in the forward right (northeast) section of the coach house and stables at Woodham Mortimer Lodge, is a small structure dating from the early 19th century. It is built of red brick and features a grey slate roof. There is an off-centre red brick chimney stack on the right. The room has double vertically boarded doors on both the right and left sides, with a central single vertically boarded door that has a light above it. It is said to retain its original boarded ostlers tack room and fireplace. This building is part of the Lodge complex.
