Description
This barn, located approximately 50 metres north-west of Reigate Cottage, dates from the 18th to 19th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, with a brick plinth and a half hipped grey slate roof. The barn features a hipped midstrey facing the farmyard and has double vertically boarded doors that open to the road. It likely consists of five bays and is currently used for grain storage. The roof includes a side purlin ridge board, with through bracing on the walls and hanging knees supporting the tie beams. The barn has good group value with Reigate Cottage and the nearby barns.
