Description

The bridge and weir at Langford Park Grove is a footbridge with an attached weir, built around 1782 by John Johnson. It is constructed from Suffolk gault brick in Flemish bond, featuring some knapped flint voussoirs and stone caps. The structure has a cambered arch over a brick retaining wall of the weir, with outward curving walls and end brick piers topped with square stone caps. This bridge and weir are part of a series of ornamental lakes, waterfalls, and garden features at Langford Grove.
