Description

This small cottage, dating from the early 18th century, is located adjacent to The Blackwater Inn. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped by a grey slate roof. The cottage features a red brick chimney stack on the right side. It has one storey and an attic, with a central gabled dormer. There are single-storey extensions on both the right and left sides. The front has a window arrangement of one large window flanked by two smaller vertically sliding sashes with glazing bars. A central doorway is present, and restoration work was underway at the time of the last survey.
