Description

The Sprawls is a 17th century house located on Colchester Road in West Bergholt. It features a timber frame and plastered exterior, with a red brick façade in Flemish bond on the south front. The roof is ridged and gabled, covered with peg tiles, and has a central red brick chimney at the ridge. The first storey includes two sash windows in exposed boxes, and there is a central gabled porch on the ground storey flanked by small pane sashes on either side. At the rear, there is a lean-to addition.
