Description

Stokers is a 17th and 18th century, two-storey timber-framed house located in Rotherwick. The building features irregular fenestration and has undergone alterations and extensions at its west end. It is topped with a red tile roof. The timber framing is exposed in the east gable and on the upper walling in other areas, with red brick infill and additional walling in both English and Flemish bonds. The brick walling includes cambered openings and a cement plinth. The windows are casements, and there are plain doors. Inside, there is a large chimney breast, although it does not have an external stack.
