Description

Mattingley Post Office is a building from the 18th century and early 19th century, consisting of two attached parts. It has one storey and an attic on one side, and two storeys on the other, with a total of one over one windows. The roof is covered in red tiles, featuring a gabled dormer on the south side and a half-hipped design on the north side, complete with brick dentil eaves and a catslide at the rear. The brickwork is painted, and the ground floor openings are cambered. The windows are casements, and there is a boarded door set in a solid frame, also with a cambered head.
