Description

The barn at Bartlett's Farm, located to the southeast of the farmhouse, dates from the 17th century. It features a six-bay timber frame built on a brick base, with east side aisles that include two gabled entrances positioned at the second and fifth bays. The roof is covered with slate, while a later outshot is tiled. The structure has a massive frame with straight struts and cambered side girths. Most of the walls are weather-boarded, although there are sections of brick-nogged framing and brick walling in the lower parts.
